Friendly people, nice rooms

The location is pretty good although not much to do in walking distance. It's a few miles off the Taconic, on the way towards 84, so lot's of options for hiking on the AT by driving a few. There's a convenience store just around the corner, one restaurant there as well but that's it. The hotel is fine, the room was clean and acceptable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's some decent dog walking areas on the property, a big lawn in front and some in the back but no place to let the dog run. We had a nice stay.
