Didn’t Feel Welcome

We recently dined at Terrain outdoors with our dog and felt very unwelcome the moment we sat down. We called ahead to make sure that we’ll behaved dogs are welcomed and the hostess assured us that they are as long as they are leashed and outside. The waitress didn’t come by to check how we were doing as often as the surrounding tables so she wouldn’t be near our dog (who was extremely well behaved and slept/laid under me the entire time). My fiancé left with the dog to the car while we waiting for the check and that was the first time the waitress came over to the table smiling and engaging with me. Wouldn’t bring our dog with us there again.
