Nice big park
Lake County Dog ParkBig park, benches, picnic table, lots of baggies and trash bins. Dusty but overall great stop for our dogs!!

Dog heaven
Y-Farms KennelsThis place is near Zachary. I boarded my pups. They have a really nice big property with big areas inside and out for the dogs to run. Super nice people, easy to work with and flexible, plus my dogs had a blast.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baton Rouge - Port AllenNice new hotel right off I-10 west of the Mississippi River. Clean, nice grassy area for dogs, friendly staff.

Great stop over
Calcasieu Parish Animal Control Public Dog ParkI was looking for a place to walk dogs because the rest stop was closed. Only a few minutes off I-10. I missed the turn in because it had a police/city office sign, there is a big sign for the dog park but the turn in was before the park and sign. Big open field with a few trees. It did have some muddy spots but my dogs loved it. They just ran crazy with so much room. We were the only ones there so they had the whole field top themselves.

Amazing Beer Garden
AxelradSuper nice beer garden with local craft beers, and an amazing patio. You can order a pizza from next door. Very dog friendly!

Fun bar
NettBarGames, fun drinks, nice patio and TVs to watch the games. Good place to go when the weather is nice. No food, but we ordered a pizza and had it delivered.

Great patio!
FM Kitchen and BarGreat patio, friendly server, good food. They brought my dog a big bowl of ice water and all the staff came by to see him.

Great stay
Holiday Inn Express Atmore an IHG HotelWe were looking for a hotel that would take us and our dogs. We were at the beach when a hurricane was headed our way, so we chose to move to higher ground. Staff was super friendly and accommodating to our pets. They have a big Green space on North side to walk the babies. Several fast food places very close. Also Wind Creek casino was a few minutes away. They had bowling, a movie theater as well as gambling and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great patio for pups
Rock & Brewsfun atmosphere, staff all came to pet my puppy and we had good drinks and a nice afternoon.
