Friendly Staff
Super 8 by Wyndham Amarillo Central TXStaff was friendly and room was clean with hard floors. There is a large area for pets but you must bring your own pet waste bags. The pet friendly rooms are conveniently close to the door that leads outside to the pet relief area. Watch your step though because a lot of pet owners did not clean up their pet’s waste so you might step in it.

Knights Inn Gallup Near University of New MexicoRoom was recently renovated with a nice size bathroom and new floors. Bed was reasonably comfortable for the price. I was allowed to bring 3 dogs. There was an area for pets, however there was no pet waste stand and had to wander around looking for a garbage can. Also, the per area is mostly rocks and dirt which caused our room to get a bit dirty.
Not sure if it was because of the recent renovation, but there were random pieces of furniture outside (broken chair pieces and a box spring). There are railroad tracks with decently loud trains that pass by as well. Overall it was acceptable for a one night stay. Staff was friendly.
