Lovely remodeled hotel

Hotel was great and everyone was very nice. When we asked where to take the dogs to relieve themselves, we were told that people normally walk them and they just go on the sidewalk. We did find a library nearby to walk them with artificial turf. Of course we were diligent about cleaning up after them, but felt bad because a number of homeless people were resting there. We were able to dine on the patio with the dogs but one of the hostesses was hesitant initially. But seriously, all the hotel staff were all very kind.
The hotel charged a pet fee of $100 + a $9.50 pet tax. Just a tip, if you self park (right next to the hotel) it is $25 a night. If you have the valet park it for you, it is $55 a night.
