Easy stop on a long road trip

Residence Inn by Marriott Bakersfield

We stayed at the Residence Inn, Bakersfield on our way home from a long road trip with our two dogs. The room was comfortable (great comfy bed!) and clean, with plenty of space for our pooches. The hospitality staff - Jerry at the front desk- was accommodating and friendly. There are many restaurant and meal options nearby, and we found a great bike trail by the river and park for a long walk before getting back in the car the next day. I would stay there again in transit without a doubt!

Like having an apartment for one night

Residence Inn by Marriott Idaho Falls

The Residence Inn was a great place for us to rest our heads, both furry and human, for a night during our road trip. The rooms were spacious and clean, check in was easy and we even had a kitchen with a dishwasher to wash our dogs' bowls. Walking distance to a bunch of cute restaurants and a fantastic riverside park and walking/bike trail, it was a a great location to explore with our pooches. Night was quiet and the bed was comfy - we slept in and I was able to wake up and do some laundry while my husband worked in the morning on ZOOM. I did see a large pool and gym area, but we did not use them. Overall, a great place to stay!

A place to lay your head

My Place Hotel Twin Falls ID

Very basic and bordering on not clean, this place was fine for a one night stay. Though they advertise “kitchenette”, there were no cooking or eating tools in the room, although they had frying pans for sale in the little store. Thin walls made for a restless night for us and for our two pitties who woke up and barked with every sound. Twin Falls is a great place for outdoor explorations with your dog- Centennial Water Park and Shoshone Falls are dog friendly and amazingly pretty.

Relax with your pawdner

The Riverside Hotel BW Premier Collection

We had a great stay at the Riverside Inn with our 2 pittie mix fur babies- they even got dog biscuits at check-in! Dogs are welcome throughout the property, even in the restaurants (outside dining). Boise is a very dog friendly town with tons of outdoor stuff to do with your pooch. We would come back for sure!
