This is our first pup - both my husband and I had dogs while growing up, and we kept promising our kids one, but not until we could be home with them (the pup not the kids)- we felt it wouldn't be fair to the pup being home alone for long periods of time.

Needs work
PETA's Dog ParkConsidering that Bea Arthur's name is being used for this dog park, one would think that PeTA would make sure it's kept up better than we experienced today. Very little grass, and in the small dog section, water supply was dismal and it looked like it was not working. The coniferous trees need to be cut back (they look ragged), and a few deciduous trees would make it look much better. Last time we were there, the large dog section was closed off- supposedly for reseeding, but today it was a matted, flat piece of land- and that was on both sides! I took pictures of both large and small dog sides- who is maintaining this park??

Pup LOVED her Pup Cup!
Bruster's Real Ice CreamWe went to Bruster's Real Ice Cream, and our sweet pup was given a FREE Pup Cup and on it was a dog bone! She loved her treat, and saved her bone until we got home to eat it. Well worth the trip for all of us- their ice cream is delicious (and well worth the price!). Make it a stop- so nice to have a small business in the area that treats both humans and pets with kindness!
