Disappointing on Several Levels

Having Been totally satisfied with our stay at the Staybridge Suites Toledo/Maumee the night before, the Embassy Suites Omaha West left us disappointed.

Perhaps some of it had to do with the fact that we had the misfortune of arriving at around 6 pm on a Friday evening when a major high school football tournament was scheduled to take place that weekend and check-in was swamped..

Beyond that however we did not feel comfortable with the COVID precautions in place. Despite signs on all entrances stating that masks were required there were many people of all ages walking around and sitting in the common areas of the lobby without masks. This was not just to to the rush at check in as similar situations were noted later in the evening and again the next morning.

As far as the accommodations go, our room at the Staybridge was far superior to the Embassy Suites despite the fact that we were booked on the “premium floor” of the Embassy Suites. For our return trip we will be booking a room at the Staybridge Suites Omaha West

Great room full kitchenette

We were very satisfied with.both the accommodations and the service at the Staybridge Suites and will stay there again if passing through the Toledo area.
