Quick stop!
Capital Ale HouseMy boyfriend and I brought our 50# dog here at the mid-point of a road trip home from southern Virginia. The spot was empty at the time (which seems secondary to its location downtown on a Sunday). The back patio area is a small oasis in its surroundings. We were hoping to watch football, but unfortunately there are no TVs out there. The waitress was lovely to bring our girl both water and a cup of beef broth.

Easy pick!
Golden Leaf BistroWe came here on two separate evenings while in town for an event at VIR. The first night we were able to sit out front with our dog without any issues, and later that weekend came to the outdoor patio with our girl and enjoyed dinner again but with live music! Decent menu and good service!
