Beautiful location
Riverhouse on the DeschutesThis hotel is first class and, unlike many hotels, did not treat those of us with dogs as 2nd class citizens. While there were no special accommodations for Fido, no bowls, beds, blankets or anything, we did get an exceptionally large room with a view of the river, comfortable bed, fridge, all the amenities that make a hotel a luxurious experience for humans. Our dog liked that there are paved and unpaved trails you can walk to.

Noisy
Bristlecone MotelWhile Big Pine is a pretty quiet town, the Chevron station in front of the motel was busy for a while after we went to bed. The place was clean enough I suppose, and our suite had a full kitchen which was nice. While nothing there was in great condition, it was fine. I just can't give it a great rating because there was nothing great about it.
