Good food and dog friendly waitstaff
Sound to Summit BrewingRecommend the halibut fish burger. It is constructed like a crab cake but is fresh and not greasy. I’m not a salad person but definitely get a salad instead of fries because they are tasty. Plus, you can get a pretzel with amazing mustard and beer cheese. Staff is dog friendly. I had my pup in a crate outside and the staff let me know she didn’t have to stay in there.
Larger than it looks
Dog Park at Tambark Creek ParkFrom the road this park doesn’t look like much. It is definitely worth stopping and checking out. The park has plenty of space to walk your dog around in a leash. There are forested paths that my dog enjoyed sniffing. They don’t have a small/shy dog area but they have a good sized fenced area for regular dogs. In the summer it was down to bare dirt so it was dusty when the dogs were running. The dogs and people we encountered were friendly and welcoming. However, watch out for holes. There were several large/deep holes but they are out in the open and pretty obvious.
Huge and safe
Dog Park at Willis D. Tucker Community ParkThis is a an awesome dog park. Everything else will pale in comparison. Massive open meadow for regular dogs. The open space closest to the gate is bare dirt and can be dusty in the summer when the dogs are running. Some agility equipment like jumps and a dog walk. Good sized area for small/shy dogs. It borders the fenced off leash trail area on 3 sides. No agility equipment in shy dog area but they do have a bench and a picnic table with trees for shade. There is a dumpster and a portable toilet right outside of the fenced areas. The rest of the park had plenty of space to walk your dog on a leash. There are almost always dogs to play with in the open meadow. Small or shy dog area isn’t as popular.
Soggy but nice
Tails and Trails Dog ParkWe went on a very wet day after a few days of rain and it was definitely muddy in the regular/large dog area. The small/shy dog area was covered with a half inch of rain. Puddles about 3 inches deep and about a foot across were at the ends of the agility equipment. I was excited to see the small dog area had a jump, dog walk, and A frame. The A frame seemed incredibly steep. I wonder if it conforms to a standard pitch? We didn’t explore the trails since the fenced areas were so wet. We’d like to go back on a nice day.
Small/shy Dog Area Doesn't have a Separate Entrance
Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash ParkThe small/shy dog area is just a fenced section inside the regular dog park. There isn't a separate entrance for the small/shy dogs. You have to walk (or carry) your small/shy dog through the regular dog park in order to access this section. Also, there is only a single gate for the small/shy dog area. When I was visiting, there was a gap in the gate which would have been big enough for my chihuahua mix to escape into the regular dog area. However, my dog found a hole about a foot wide near the corner where she jumped through and escaped into the regular dog park. Luckily, all of the big dogs were hanging out near all of the agility equipment and were very engaged. The rest of the fencing and gates seemed secure. The dogs and owners were friendly. There are mowed grass walkways around the fenced dog park and there appears to be lots of other similar trails for walking your dog on a leash.
Cool Walking Trails
Loganberry Lane ParkI copied the address from this site into my GPS but, that didn't quite get me to the park. I had to travel several blocks past the intersection listed on this site. I just kept moving forward through this residential area and found it. The park has large obvious signs so you'll know you're in the right place. The fenced section of the off leash area appeared secure to me. There were double gates at the two entrance points. There wasn't a separate section for small/shy dogs so, that's unfortunate for me and my 8 lbs dog. However, we were able to enjoy the cool wooded trails on a leash. I noticed lots of gaps in the fencing which bordered the golf course and it didn't appear to be fenced when we reached the top of a trail which lead to the athletic fields. I saw wooden posts where the trails branched off but didn't see any signage or maps for wayfinding. So, I was careful to remember which turns I made so that I could get back. My dog enjoyed sniffing so we had a good time but there's room for improvement.
Small store but packed with everything
PETCO EverettAlthough this store doesn't have the same square footage as the nearby PetSmart, it somehow always seems to have more selection. Staff are friendly and helpful. We've had good experiences with the onsite groomers.

Fun, Responsive, & Convenient
The Dog SpotThe Dog Spot is an awesome doggy day care that my pup loves! Staff are responsive and great at communicating with owners quickly. I have a small dog and I love that they offer a small dog group and monitor her play so that she stays safe and has fun. The hours for drop off/pick up are convenient and the staff is speedy in the hand offs. Their location makes it easy to get on/off I-5 so you can get to work or home fast. Staff is smart & caring and provides the cutest online photos so you can check on your pup during your lunch break. Very happy to have found this place!!!
