Great dog friendly hotel in great town
The Hotel TellurideI have a bigger dog (70 pounds) and this was a great place to accommodate a larger dog. My friend and I were traveling and so we had a room with 2 queen beds, a little sitting area, a desk and still had plenty of room for a larger dog bed too. There is a walking path through town right outside the hotel so we were able to take a walk in the morning and stretch out legs after a long drive in and before out long drive out. This is right at the edge of the main street too with plenty of food options within a few blocks. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pup friendly...nice room...a little lax on masks in the restaurant
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Durango Downtown an IHG HotelThis was our first hotel stay with my 70 pound pup. The hotel staff was great on check in, the room was nice and it was great they take all size animals. There was a little more on the pet form you fill out at the desk than what I found on line so it would have been great to get a copy of that in advance so you can be prepared. Our only issue was that the mask wearing was pretty lax in the restaurant and my friend who was picking up our food said the waitress wasn't wearing one at all. Our dinner got a little messed up too but I don't want to hold what happened there against the hotel itself. As far as a place to stay while traveling with your larger dog I give the hotel a thumbs up.
