Very Dog Friendly
The McCormick ScottsdaleBooked here specifically as the property has ample green space and pathways to walk your leashed dog. Be sure and reserve a first floor room with patio for quick access to grass. As others have said, the McCormick could use an update. That aside, it is in a great location, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the employees were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

Not So Great For My Dog
Pacific Palms ResortA lovely and clean property with great staff. BUT it is a high rise - guests must take two separate elevators to get to their room! It's a very busy hotel with many special events going on day and night; there's also a golf course and spa on site - all of which can make close parking a challenge unless you valet. Not many acceptable potty areas close to main building, must walk a bit. If your dog is ok being around scores of people and enjoys elevator rides it may be a good fit for you.
