Room was gross and smelled like and ashtray...

This La Quinta site has apparently gone down hill since many of the positive reviews. The room was a non-smoking room and it smelled like a smoking lounge, had mold in many places. The smoke detectors were removed and hidden behind the TV. Once the maintenance staff replaced them they found one of them was bad, and they did not have any replacements, so I guess we took our chances that night... I felt dirtier leaving than I did after a day on the road with the family and 3 dogs. This location should be removed from the BringFido site. Yes, they were accommodating to pets, but not humans.
