Adequate but not great

The room was fine for a desperate late-night stop on a long trip, but we were happy to get going early the next day. The room was clouded in a strong, unpleasant odor and the bedspreads were either stained or dirty. The dog room seems to have been used by dogs that are not as well-trained and as continent as ours.
