Allows pets but rude about them

This hotel allows pets for $50 a night but they definitely are judgmental when you actually bring one. The places listed in the pet policy you can bring them are the garage (ha! seriously) and the lobby... the outdoor area with the fire pits is a no-go. Even though it’s not an eating area and we bought $$ drinks at the bar to sit out there. A rude guy at the desk came out to tell me my small 12 pound dog was not allowed to sit on my lap outside. No one came to sit outside at the fire pits for the rest of the night. who would be disturbing with a sleeping dog on our laps??? the guys attitude really turned us off even the bartender was shocked. we will not be returning. dog friendly is a strong statement for this hotel.
