I love furry pets! Currently only have my sweet doggie who is 13 yrs old (but he thinks he's still a puppy!). Jake is a mix of Pit Bull, Queensland Heeler and Sharpei ! He loves to travel with me, makes no difference if it's a trip to the grocery store or Lake Tahoe! I have no kitties now as the last of my golden boys have passed on to Kitty heaven and my heart is still too tender from losing the last one to bring any new kitties home (but I will eventually). My last one Tommy actually did well riding in the car! So for now it's just Jake and I just wish people didn't discriminate against Pits! He is the sweetest dog! Has Never even nipped anyone! More than I can say for Chihuahuas! Sorry folks, but they are noisy and very aggressive and will bite!

Wouldn't Know, they Discriminate
Dillon BeachMy dog Jake was so happy to be going to the ocean for the first time! I had the hardest time trying to find a place where we could park and just walk on a beach so he could get his first feel of the ocean. Even tho he is a Pit Bull mix and the sweetest dog, we were not permitted to enter! He doesn't pick fights at the dog parks and when we walk our neighborhood he has many doggie friends who whine if Jake doesn't come to their gates to say "Hello!". There are other breeds who are aggressive and mean but still allowed on the beach! I never let Jake run free in public places and he is always fine on a leash!
