Easy check-in & a comfy room. Staff was very friendly. Amber (she gave me permission to use her name) was especially helpful during our 2026 stay. We appreciate the green spaces for pups & also really enjoy Firefly Grill restaurant just minutes away.

This was our stop between Effingham IL & Boerne TX. Our room was comfy & clean, hotel staff were great & loved our pups. A decent amount of green space for walking dogs around hotel. We ordered food through local delivery service “Take a Break.” Had a great meal from The Velvet Ditch, which has a dog friendly patio. Had we not been so tired, we would have gone exploring. A college town, Oxford seems to have loads of options.

This location had a fantastic fenced in green space for our pups with poo stations included. Hotel was clean & staff friendly. Nice feature is a pre check-in option via a text message. Made in person check-in very speedy. If you enjoy a hot (cooked) breakfast, you’ll love this space. Eggs, sausage, the works. A cereal station as well. The only downside for us is we enjoy the fruit & yogurt “grab n go” options at other La Quinta locations. Not a huge deal, if we pass this way again we’ll bring our own. And I’m sure we will be back.

This was a great stop on our way back to Michigan from New Mexico. Comfy and clean inside! The only thing I’ll say is shame on pet owners who stay here and don’t pick up after their pets. This hotel is great to supply “pup poo stations” with bags and trash bins and loads of green space for pups to potty. We were so sad to see so much poo left in the green spaces, especially after La Quinta took such good care in providing stations. I know we on BringFido are so appreciative of pet friendly spaces and take such good care when we travel with pups/pets. Hopefully others will take care of spaces too. It’s such a great benefit to have these hotels AND have pet stations at our disposal. We’ll definitely go back to this location, but will watch our step…and pick up when we see piles in our way. Side note: I loved the pillows at this location! They were labeled “soft” & “firm.” I loved the soft, my partner loved the firm.

Stayed here on our way back home to Michigan (from Marfa, TX). Great price through BringFido app, friendly staff, clean (large!) king room, & plenty of green space for our senior special needs pup Lucy. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Stayed here with our senior pup & the first floor king room we had was very comfy. Pet fee was minimal. We had to book through hotel as I needed first floor (post hip replacement surgery) & they were very accommodating. Nice breakfast selection & some decent food options available via DoorDash if you don’t want to leave your room for dinner after a long drive. Not a ton of grassy areas, but enough for our little pooch.

Good lunch of chicken enchiladas & shrimp tacos. now off to tour Taos.
