I like to travel with my Wheaten Terrier, Henry, and sometimes a friend or family members. I need a non-smoking room. I also appreciate info on local dog parks or places for longer walks.

Great place, near river walk
Element MolineReally interesting. Old office building renovated to spacious rooms with mud-century modern furnishings. The river walk along the Mississippi is a block away, and we could take long walks in the mornings. Be aware that the train tracks are active, and the trains sound their horns at each intersection. I will ask for a room that is not trackside, next time.

Great hotel during the week, crowded on weekends
Stoney Creek Hotel Quad Cities - MolineI really liked this place. It was very welcoming. The presented us with a cup of treats and a doggy waste bag holder when we checked in. The weemnights that I stayed were quiet and restful. The walk along the Mississippi was a great bonus, and should improve when the bridge construction is done. The only downside is that we were on a floor with some loud children and young adults who insisted on running up and down the hall and yelling, past midnight, on Friday. The caused my dog to be alarmed and bark. When I complained the next morning, they were unable to move me, as there were several events being held. However, they informed their security to watch my floor, and there was no trouble on Saturday
There were several dogs in the motel, and all of them seemed to be under your control. The room and the common areas were clean, and did not smell "doggy." I was very happy with my stay.
