A mix of good and bad

Try to get room service if the hotel only wants to do it on certain nights - and how do you get out to restaurants if you have a dog? Valet and most staff were great, but the front desk was not set up to handle questions from pet owners - do they have a list of restaurants that would do take-out? Are there any pet friendly restaurants? As the hotel is very close to the high crime drug district, where do they think we can even walk out pets? They have not thought these things through and I suggest they are not pet owners.
