Rude staff member
Badlands Hotel and CampgroundIt was fun staying in the Badlands but the woman who checked us in was not so much fun. She snapped at my husband stating dogs not allowed inside. There was nothing posted at the office entrance. I guess since this place is in such demand you can be rude in the Badlands. It was a campground with a few motel rooms for crying out loud. No need to be rude to paying guests. Wouldn’t stay there again. We will find another place when we return to the stunning Badlands.

Traumatized!
Travelodge by Wyndham North PlatteWithin minutes of entering the room our dog found a rat poison chunk under the bed (which was identified by a friend I sent a photo of it to). I looked under the bed after removing it from her mouth to see all sorts of garbage, e.g. bottle caps, M&M’s and tons of wrappers. We also killed 3 wasps in the room. I went to the front desk with this information and was offered another room. Front desk and I went to different room to find all kinds of garbage under that bed also and the air conditioner didn’t work. She offered me a vacuum cleaner and I cleaned the room. I didn’t see the friend’s ID of the green chunk until morning and I immediately went back to front desk. Clerk called the manager and at this point we are being refunded for the evening. Horrified and still distressed by this. I wanted to give ZERO bones but the site won’t let me.

Great location
Quality Inn and Suites Springfield Southwest Near I-72Super helpful staff, great room on the 1st floor. Enough grassy areas to make me happy. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient location
Cobblestone Inn & Suites Winterset2nd floor no elevator, too many cigarette butts in the grassy area. Noisy and disrespectful where time was concerned. The 2nd floor was all construction workers (except us) drinking and making lots of noise in their rooms and in the hall up til midnight. Convenient location isn’t everything and also felt overpriced. Wouldn’t stay again, we got thru it and moved on.

Great location
Quality Inn & Suites Casper Near Event CenterThis has been the best of 4 stops on our vacation. The staff were attentive and even had treats for our pup. Breakfast was done very well and staff was there to show us the rounds! If we are going home their way we will definitely stay again

Great location
La Quinta by Wyndham KearneyFriendly helpful Staff. Clean room and plenty of towels without having to ask for more. Husband enjoyed the hot breakfast. The only thing that would have made it better would have been “pet fee free”

It was available
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham ColumbiaI would have given zero bones but it was an available reservation. Dirty entrance full of cigarette butts, breakfast should have read, cold cereal only and no milk for it and there was old coffee and no cups for the coffee (brought the cups from our room to fill). The morning Staff made no eye contact for fear of us asking for ANYTHING. I heard her on the phone complaining that she was the only Staff person there when I walked into lobby and on my way out I could hear her making the same complaint to someone from housekeeping. Very disappointing since the night before we stayed at a La Quinta and we gave it 5 bones.
