Beyond expectations!

I am so thankful that we chose The Drury Inn for our Christmas Eve stay. Hot food when every place in town is closed was so lovely…and tasty…and filling. Otherwise, the hotel is walking distance from The Outback, Texas Roadhouse, The Olive Garden, and IHOP…which is very convenient. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, although the hot tub jets could use some maintenance, the temperature was fabulous. River, at the front desk was so warm and friendly and helped us feel right at home. The hostess in the dining area treated us like family and was so cool and genuinely kind. We were taken care of and not treated like we were keeping the staff from having a Christmas of their own like we were last year at another big hotel and that felt great!

There are several areas around the property for long walks with our big dog…which is really nice considering other hotel’s options. The suite was pretty big and nicely furnished with a really nice pull out sofa that was big enough for a plus size woman to sleep on without having to pull out the bed! That’s probably my favorite thing…and the reason I will book again.
