Worst La Quinta

My dog and I stay at many La Quintas for work and pleasure. This is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at. The property is seriously run down, hasn’t been updated in years. Upon checking in the front desk guy was mad about having to work and let everyone in earshot know about it.He put me on the second floor, about as far away from the lobby as you can possibly get. Did I mention, there’s no elevator. He could let me know that I could’ve parked much closer and made my three trips back-and-forth to the room a little easier.

The room itself had a “nice” 1980s feel to it. The TV wasn’t working, internet sucked and had a slight hint of mold. The hotel itself wasn’t all that noisy however my dog is freaked out all night, as she was hearing something that made her extremely nervous. This morning We went for a walk so she could do her thing, The pet relief area was littered with trash to include used condoms. I complained to the guy at the front desk, who was extremely apathetic. Breakfast was a joke. A bowl of bananas, a few packages of oatmeal, a couple of prepackaged muffins that could’ve doubled as hockey pucks and no hot water. If it were possible to give it -5 bones or more I would. Stay clear of this place.

It’s just ok

So the rooms are spacious and nice. The check-in process was easy and the front desk person was pleasant. It’s 35.00 for Fido to spend the night. The price you pay on Fido or any other 3rd party apps does not include parking (10.00/night) or breakfast (11.00). There's no guest laundry on site. I paid 117.00 but adding in all the extras I’m at 173.00 plus tax. No bueno! There’s no relief area on property and the closest strip of grass is about a block away. According to the lengthy form of do's and (mostly) don’ts you must initial and sign, pets are not allowed to stay in the room unattended whether in crate or not. Like the title says “it’s just ok” and way to expensive with a pet.

Dirty loud and disgusting

DO NOT STAY HERE! The property and rooms are filthy. the room I have smells and looks like the floors haven’t been swept in day. I asked for a different room and was told they were sold out. it’s 3am and have complained to the front desk numerous times about the vagrants and loud partying guests 2 rooms down they have done nothing. Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We are packing up and leaving now. I’d give it a minus 5 bones if I could.

Great Park!

If I had my very own dog park this would be it! No fences, no leashes and acres upon acres of freedom. We’ve been on a road trip from Grand Junction, CO to Hilton Head and now here and Palisades River bend park, Hilton head beaches and now Coyner are the top 3. This taking the cake. Roxy would give 6 bones (but there’s only 5)
