Fabulous!!!
The Lookout Inn of New OrleansThe room we stayed in (i think it was the Mission Room?) was beautiful. Tall ceilings, clean, great Queen sized bed, great tub. I would stay here again. I've never stayed in the Bywater district and at first while driving down Poland Street I had some reservations and doubts ;however, my wife and two dogs walked about a 1/2 mile thru several blocks to get to a really great Mexican restaurant (Bearcat Cafe), and strolled through lots of colorful renovated "Antebellum style" homes. I was pleasantly surprised. We were burned out on the French Quarter scene and would definitely come back to this area and in particular the Lookout.
