Lots of dogs!
Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant an IHG HotelNice hotel, lots of other dogs staying while we were there. Room and common areas were clean and comfortable. Convenient patch of grass on the side/rear of hotel w/ keyed door access, lighting and pickup/ disposal station. Dogs are allowed everywhere on hotel grounds except the main dining room for the restaurant. They are allowed around the pool area but not in the water. Well behaved dogs can be left in the rooms unattended, but excessive barking will cost you $250. Hotel does not have great security so watch your valuables when in common areas, don’t ask them for help to prove who took something that belonged to you. Other than that, hotel is convenient to several local dog friendly beaches, downtown Charleston and just across the street from Patriot’s Point. We brought our pup to doggy daycare as it rained several days that we were there and were doing indoor activities (restaurants/ tours) that weren’t dog friendly. Great vacation (the security issue wasn’t their fault but I felt that they could have been more helpful in the situation).
