Convenient off I-95
Red Roof Inn HardeevilleThis was the nicest Red Roof Inn we've stayed at recently. Rooms were updated with current paint and bed linens. The breakfast included real sausage! Nice grassy area to walk your dog on hotel property.

Convenient off I-95
Red Roof Inn & Suites WilsonI wanted to love this hotel. The exterior looks great; the room interior is a little tired even though our room had the dark red paint and 'updated' bed linens. There is a really nice very large grassy area for dog walking! The downside is we were awakened (along with our dog) around 3:30 a.m. by yelling outside, people getting in their vehicles and revving engines and then taking off. And this happened 3-4 times from 3:30 - 5:00 a.m. Hard to sleep with this going on and if you have a pup sensitive to noise, it awakens them. Mine did not bark but kept a low growl going for over an hour.

Cute hotel but disappointing stay
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelI've stayed at other Kimpton hotels and always admired their attention to detail when it comes to four legged guests. I couldn't wait to stay at this hotel; we splurged but were confident it would be worth it because it was a Kimpton. Very unimpressive from the get go. My pet was an afterthought to them (if that). No questions upon checking about my pet, whether I needed a bed, food and water bowls, special signs for the door to indicate a pet was inside, etc. Additionally, we had no hand soap on the lavatory. We were told by cleaning crew to contact the front desk. (Why am I chasing down a basic item like soap?) We were not informed of any happy hours (they have one, we stumbled upon). Overall, just not impressed. Although the location was stellar and we could easily walk to many bars, restaurants and attractions. I know it's tough hiring good people now but the price they charged did not align with the experience.
