Not as advertised

We were expected to be on the 1st floor easy access to the dog relief area. We were give a room on the 2nd floor in the middle, close to the elevators. The hotel was not full or even 50% capacity. I would have also expected the hotel to put us 1st floor at the end near the exit door and away from other guests. That was the opposite. The rooms were all carpet except the bathroom. Again not what I was expecting for a dog-friendly room. My dogs did have a problem and destroyed the cheap hallow bathroom door. I have received a bill but I was charged over $560 from the hotel. But no email, no phone call, nothing just charged my card. I notified the front desk of the damage after it happened.
