Where I’ll stay in Silver City
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Silver CityAfter I couldn’t find Bear Creek cabins I booked reservations here. It’s your typical Quality Inn level of lodging: basic but decent. Very nice staff; decent hot breakfast; dogs are comfortable here and no one bothers you. Plus you can easily find it, unlike the previous lodge mentioned above.

Lousy treatment, charged me for a night
Bear Creek Motel and CabinsI couldn’t find the place. I used navigation, circled around a bunch of times but couldn’t find it. But the owner was more than happy to charge me as a no-show even when I explained the issue. He said there were signs. In terms of charging me, yes that’s his right, but I think he should have shown some understanding. His reply was to “contact Expedia”. I never saw any signs, or any indication of a lodging. The neighborhood is rural residential with broken down homes and abandoned cars. An aggressive dog chased my new SUV with my dogs inside. I was afraid he was going to leap up and scratch it. This was extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this lodge under any circumstances.

Pleasant experience
Larkspur Landing Bellevue - An All-Suite HotelThis is a small, unfussy place that is away from the buzz of the big city. It seems to be well like by the my four-footed customers, as well as their dutiful leash holders.
