Great for pups and people

Big Bad Breakfast

the outdoor patio was awesome for our pup and the waitress brought a bowl of water right out. the entire staff was very dog friendly and kind to our girl. the food was also really good - we had the chicken and waffles and one of their biscuit breakfast sandwiches. would 100% recommend.

Cool Spot, Friendly Staff

Henry's on the Market

We stumbled on Henry’s when we first got to Charleston with our dog and just needed someplace pup-friendly for a quick bite and a drink. Henry’s felt like a super cool hidden gem! We loved the speakeasy vibes, and the Moscow mules and spinach dip were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooftop bar allowed dogs and was a fairly low-key place at 6:00 on a Wednesday. The only drawback was the limited menu on the rooftop. We went somewhere else for dinner after a quick refuel of apps and drinks.

Take a Pass on Poogan’s

Poogan's Smokehouse

“Dog-friendly” is a stretch for Poogan’s. They had 3 tables on a very busy sidewalk that our pup found really distracting. The staff was also kind of snarky when we called ahead to ask about dog friendliness, reservations and if there was a dress code (there’s not). Not to mention the BBQ itself just wasn’t good. I’d pass on Poogan’s.
