Nice but very unfriendly front desk staff

The stay was nice, the room clean, but the front desk staff, especially the woman, were very unfriendly. I asked if there was a room with a better view and the woman said to call back in a couple of hours. There were hardly any guests but I guest they were waiting to see if there were higher-paying guests that they can give those rooms to. I didn't call back.
