Nice hotel
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott ConwayMurphy liked staying here. The room was nice and he got a free water bowl.
Excellent Breakfast
George's WildberriesWildberries has a great outdoor patio that is dog friendly. Upon arrival we were told we could choose our table and when our server arrived with water there was also a bowl of water included for Murphy! She made time to talk to him while we ordered. The breakfasts are awesome and not super expensive. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Phoenix.
Historical Site
Pioneer Living History MuseumWe had a great visit here and they are super dog friendly. I was happy when we arrived and they said that big dogs are welcome (sometimes it is only small dogs :( ). Connie was great upon arrival and gave a short overview of the compound and then asked if we needed a bowl for water for Murphy. She pointed out that there were numerous faucets and any with hoses were available to use to fill water for your pupper. There were a lot of historic buildings to see and a cute church. She also said that many times couples use the facility for their weddings. There were plenty of places to rest in the shade with benches for the humans and so the puppers could rest and have a drink. I would recommend and the entry fee was not outrageous at $12.
Less than expected
La Quinta by Wyndham Phoenix Mesa WestThe hotel was less than expected since our stay a couple of years ago. They do have 2 green spaces which is nice for the doggos but the poop bag holder never had bags (Murphy always has bags in his harness so it did not effect us for clean up). The room was average for the price, and probably could have used a good mopping on the vinyl flooring (which is nice for water dishes) since when I wiped up some water the towel had a lot of black grime on it. Side note, save up your money to just go purchase a breakfast as this was very underwhelming and minimal selection and don't expect coffee to be available at any time except breakfast. I was told it was under new ownership and it shows, but we would stay again as it is in a really good location.
Nice stay
Hampton Inn ClintonWe had a great overnight stay at the Hampton Inn in Clinton, OK. The room was nice and they couldn't have welcomed Murphy more! There was a lot of green area to walk him and let him take care of his business too! The only thing was the pillows and luckily we had our own. If you stay here plan to check out Lucille's Roadhouse, right across the parking lot in walking distance. Great food and a super cute restaurant. (We ordered take out since Murph was with us and it was just as good).
Nice stay
Candlewood Suites Bowling Green an IHG HotelThe hotel was awesome. We only stayed one night so it was a little over kill for us to have the kitchenette but if you were staying several days it would be awesome. They made Murphy totally welcome and the grounds had a lot of green space for him to walk and take care of his business (it was well maintained and did have a lot of "leftovers" from other dogs). The beds were comfortable and the room clean and well maintained. I would recommend!
Nice stay
La Quinta by Wyndham ConwayThe hotel was clean and comfortable and a great perk, no pet fee. Our pupper enjoyed the green spaces to walk around and sniff. Our room was comfortable with our only issue being not great pillows, but we do travel with our own. I would recommend.
Nice stay
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Canyon an IHG HotelWe only stayed overnight but it was great. The room was nice and there was a lot of green space for the pupper.
Great dog run
Best Western Plus Fort Stockton HotelOur big boy enjoyed having a space to go off leash and check things out. The hotel was super dog friendly and made him welcome. The breakfast started late and was still having some covid restrictions so we didn't wait there, it was just more hassle than it was worth. The staff was friendly and helpful which is always a win and they called earlier in the day to check if we had any needs they could help with to have ready when we arrived. The room was nice, we liked that it had no carpet so felt better for cleaning in dog friendly rooms. The real down fall was the pillows were not comfortable at all so if you can bring your own you might want to consider it. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would recommend.
Geat place
Tia Juana's Mexican Grille & CantinaWe had made a quick day trip to see a friend and she said we could eat here and take our Boxer with us on the patio. The weather was perfect and we got excellent service including water for our boy. We will go again next time we are there.
