Beautiful rooms but something was missing
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas I-35 Walnut Hill LnThe place had been almost completely renovated, which made the rooms so nice. It was like staying in some real swanky place when we walked into the room. However, it did have a few little quirks that cost the hotel a 5 bones rating. None of the ice machines worked, the cards wouldn't open the exterior doors so you HAD to go in the lobby and walk down half the length of the building to get to the elevators and the drain in my room, as beautiful as the room was, emptied into a bucket or something. There was also infinitesimal shampoo bottles but no soap to wash our hands, which is what we really needed more than shampoo, anyway. Overall it met our needs and I would definitely stay there again, or recommend it to others but it wasn't quite perfect.
