Okay for hardier pups

Lots of dogs hiking at Wildcat Canyon! The views are beautiful. There is little shade and some steep climbs, so try to go early or on a cool day. I would recommend for more active dogs, definitely a more advanced hike given the conditions.

Open trails, beautiful views!

Point Pinole Regional Shoreline

Great spot for hiking with pups. The trails are spacious, parking is easy, and gatehouse facilities are very clean. Did notice that quite a few people let their dogs off leash once away from the gatehouse, so keep an eye out for wandering pups.
