A fine place to stay

We originally made this reservation when the property was Candlewood Suites, and when Sonesta took it over they raised the pet fee, which bugged me but not enough to find another place. The room was comfortable, the bed was really nice, and there was plenty of space for our large dog crate. The room was situated at the end of a hallway with a door to the outside close at hand. The dog walk area, however, was quite a distance away and tiny, so we did a lot of circuits of the building. There is a great dog park located not too far away. It is owned by the city of Troy and signs announce that you must pay an annual fee of $45 to use it, but we were lucky to find some sympathetic dog owners who let us in gratis! I would return here if I need a place to stay in the area again.
