Felt right at home
Church Street TavernImmediately got a big bowl of water and Gunnar was checked on regularly. Friendly and great meal.
Comfortable stay
La Quinta by Wyndham Ocean CityWe we’re comfortable during our stay. There’s no real grass on the property for fussy pups when they gotta go. Luckily, my dog can go anywhere. He never interacted with hotel staff because you get on the elevator from the garage level and the lobby is one floor up. His nose is super sensitive, so he alerted to a lot out in the hall and elevator; I assume it was doggy pee from others. The breakfast kinda left something to be desired but our biggest need was coffee (and we snuck a bit of ham back to put in our pup’s breakfast). The room heater is the most challenging thing even though there’s directions on the wall. The fan is super noisy so it’s important to figure the directions out. All in all, it wasn’t awful, but this review will hopefully prepare you for what you’ll find. 🙂
These folks will treat your dog like royalty!
The Breakfast SpotI think every staff member came by to say hello to our German Shepherd! I think he got more bacon than me! Food was terrific! Out of 5, I would give them TEN bones!
Rainy day lunch
DJ's Taste of the 50'sNot bad. We were able to sit on the covered patio and guests were happy to say hello to our German Shepherd as they came and went. Burgers were good.
Quiet and good food
Amos' PlaceEating outside is challenging in the rain, but they have a nice covered gazebo outside where we are with our German Shepherd. Food was good. :)
Enjoyed our visit
White Swan RestaurantVery comfortable outdoor patio with very friendly staff and delicious food. Our 102 lb German Shepherd was well received. 🥰
Had a wonderful experience
Pike Restaurant & Loungeyou’d have thought our dog was a celebrity! Everyone wanted to pet him and dog owners at all of the outdoor tables wanted to chat like family! The staff was great! The food was delicious! I’ll be back!
Amazing burgers and took care of my pup!
The Gettysburger CompanyWe’d walked for miles in the battlefield and we were hot and hungry. Gunnar got his ice water before we got our drinks and that put me at ease. We ordered him a 4oz burger from the doggie menu, cuz yeah, there’s a dog menu! He got his burger before us and thoroughly enjoyed it! The only reason for 4 not 5 bones is that the patio is pretty narrow. Gunnar is still a pup. 85 lbs of German Shepherd, but still just a puppy at 9 months old. It made it challenging to have other dogs walk by with limited space. Even in tight spaces, dog owners made it work. Oh and the burgers? A-MAZE-ING!!
What a great group of people!
Dave & Jane's CrabhouseEveryone came to say hello to Gunnar! It was later on a Sunday so the outside deck was wasn’t crowded. Gunnar stretched out on the wood deck and soaked up the great attention he got! the food was fantastic! I’d go back in a heartbeat!
