Nice Hotel!

This is a review for both the Wingate Hotel and for the website BringFido. I didn't realize I was on BringFido when trying to reach a hotel. I was trying to get the pet fee waived for my one night stay. BringFido said they would be happy to make the phone call for me to the hotel. When that didn't work out, BringFido helped me find the Wingate.

The Wingate was an adorable, warm and cozy hotel. Unlike many modern hotels, it's decorated with dark wood and a warm, welcoming fireplace when you enter their lobby. The furniture in the room was beautiful carved wood, and the beds were clean and comfortable! The floors were laminate, not rugged. I thought that would be a problem for my for babies, but they did pretty well. Even the 13-year-old!

The room had plenty of space with two double beds, and a couch/sitting area out in the entry. Breakfast in the morning was a continental breakfast, which was nice to have! The food could have been a little warmer, but I got there towards the end. The dining room was warm with wood trim and a nice decorative rug. The hotel was not new, by any means, but very respectable, especially for the price. I would definitely stay there again!

Great stay

Very nice. Nothing stands out about the hotel, but nothing disappoints, either. We came in late, desk was manned. Hotel clerk was pleasant and helpful. Room for doggies was on 1st floor. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the am was continental. Eggs a little bland. Could use some salt, but no biggie. Pleased with everything.
