Could have been better

Staff was friendly and the room was roomy and in good shape. The problem was the room #131 to be exact. It was at the front of the hotel and faced the main street in Solvang. I did not realize how noisy this street was day and night constant buzzing of cars, buses a lot of it was probably traffic to and from the nearby Chumash Casino. During the day constant streams of tourists walking by. The wife, dog and I were exhausted after the second night and so happy to be heading home. Place was booked solid so no chance of switching rooms. Probably would have been ok if it were not for the room.
