Super nice but big mess-up with our reservation

The place was really nice and the staff was really nice, but well in advance we canceled the first of three nights, and they ended up canceling our whole reservation and over two weeks after we were there, they are still holding on to our money! No refund! Something is really messed up in their communication and a lot of the staff seemed new like they didn't know what the rules were. It really soured the whole experience. We arrived expecting to be able to stay, and there was no room for us!!!
