Reservations mean nothing

The first time we stayed here, I reserved a handicapped-accessible room and the clerk gave it to someone else who walked in without a reservation. The second time we stayed, I again reserved the handicapped accessible room with a request for first floor. The clerk told me the handicapped accessible rooms are not pet friendly. Then why are they listed on BringFido?? Then I was told the only king bed room available was on the second floor. My husband is unable to manage steps and there is no elevator. We both have CPAP machines so we had to sleep in separate beds since there is not a plug on both sides of the full bed. Separate beds means little to no sleep for us. We come to the area once a month for 1 to 3 nights but will stay elsewhere from now on.
