Don't let the photos fool you

I'll start by saying the hotel is understaffed. I was on hold for almost an hour trying to confirm my reservation details before arriving at the hotel, and when we got there, there was a line out the door to check in. NONE of the COVID safety protocols the hotel claims to be following are in place -- my partner and I were the only two guests with masks on during our entire stay. Truth be told, had we not had our dog, I would've checked out immediately and fought with my credit card company to get a refund because this hotel was no where near worth what it cost. There was a wedding or some kind of event the first night, so we listened to drunk people and music from all over the hotel until 3 AM, then the remaining nights over the weekend were equally as loud due to a club on the street outside of the hotel playing their music loud as well. The floors were filthy both in and outside the room, the hallways had trash bags sitting outside of people's rooms for the entire day, there were dead bugs, cigarette butts, and roaches in the stairwells. At this point, I'm just glad we didn't take any home with us, but I will *never* stay at another Red Roof "plus" again. Our dog had a miserable time with all of the commotion everywhere in the hotel.
