my favorite spot to go with my 2 pups.
Alga Beer CompanyThere is, however, an awesome brewery there now called Alga which is extremely pet-friendly inside and outside (there are dogs there all the time, some are regulars) and has an excellent food truck out back called The Brown Bagger. It's my favorite spot to go with my 2 pups.

Fairly comfortable but...
Meadow Court InnI had a fairly comfortable stay but there were a few things that made me feel slightly unsafe as a solo female traveler, so I'm not sure I would recommend. The room was clean, but smelled a little smoky even though it was a non-smoking room. The pictures on the website showed refrigerators in the rooms, but mine didn't have one. The deadbolt on my door didn't engage with the doorframe and the chain was missing. I ended up wedging a chair under the door handle. It appears there may be some long-term residents there. One gentleman was shouting odd sounds in the parking lot one day. There was also someone living in their truck by the dumpster in the parking lot. To be fair, I did not address my concerns to management at the time because I grew up in this area and am familiar with the motel and the downtown Ithaca area, so I personally was only slightly concerned, plus I was only sleeping there and not spending time in my room other than that. If I was a traveler here for the first time though, I would have probably checked out quickly and found another place to stay, or at least have asked for a different room that had a better lock on the door.
