Great employees
Ellis Hotel Atlanta a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by MarriottObviously short staffed, but those working went above and beyond. The young woman working check-in even sent a message to the housekeeper who was gone for the day to find me a foam pillow and even personally delivered it to my room. My pup was kindly welcomed. The hotel was clean. I withheld a bone because the grassy area for walks that’s mentioned as being two blocks away is a very small park heavily inhabited by homeless people. In the large approximately one block area there were probably around 50 “residents” of the park. I’m a single mom with a teenage daughter We went to walk our dog about 6pm so it was still light, but I felt very clean, conspicuous and a bit vulnerable. At one point an individual began approaching us waving their arms with a raised voice, but then the crosswalk changed and we were able to walk away. After that I just planned Poppy’s walks other places during our day/ evening so I wouldn’t have to go there again. If your dog is used to taking care of their business on a sidewalk, it would probably be different. Just sharing so others will have a full picture.
