Ugh

We are from the upper Midwest. We are doing a road trip.
Within the first 5 minutes of visiting this beautiful park my male pup was so full of cactus that I had to carry him out.
He had cactus all around his neck and in his pads. I did my best to remove what I could.
I could not get the cactus out of his pads without him trying to bite me out of his pain.
We see the shelter/animal hospital in the short distance and quickly zoomed up to the hospital.
The staff met me at my vehicle and said they are closed and wasn’t willing to help.
they wrote down an emergency vet. that might be open.
So, we will not go back.

it looks like a lovely place and I guess it’s expected that my pups will get access to cactus in the dog park.

Wonderful

The only thing I would add would be a QR code at each gate so we can make donations to keep the park flourishing.
I am roayripoing with my PBGV’s and we are busting various dog parks through out the states.
we had a lovely romp at this dog park.

This is a wonderful park with great dogs, pet parents, facilities.
We enjoyed our couple of days here while we were traveling.

Enjoyable

the pet parents have been welcoming to me and my two pups. we have been enjoying this park and going daily while we visit the area. My pups enjoy the grass and have been making friends. I also have been enjoying connecting with the pet parents here who have been welcoming to me.

Love this park

This is a big fenced in park. There are open fields and some wooded areas. Shade and sunny areas.
Street parking with great people who are welcoming.
