Big dog friendly
Motel 6 Winchester VAReasonable basic room that accommodates large dogs with no pet fee. Also pretty good lawn for walking the dogs. Helpful staff.

Good stop for pet owners
Red Roof Inn Winchester VANice inexpensive basic room with no pet fee for our 2 large dogs. Normally also has free breakfast and coffee but the pandemic has closed the lobby for the present. Pretty convenient to I-85 (in fact has a view of it) with plenty of restaurants in the area.

Good basic room for pets
Motel 6 Harrisonburg VA - SouthNice clean basic room convenient to I-81. Great pet policy, no pet fee or size limitation which works well for us with 2 moderately big dogs. Field right outside the room to walk the dogs. Friendly staff and good price. No breakfast but free coffee in the lobby.
