Never felt less welcome

Arrived with our dog and instead of being welcomed we were told about rules, an extra $50 charge, irresponsible people and all the extra work staff had to do because of dogs. Room small, not as pictured nor the one reserved, a view of the garden blocked by a tent, windows that would not stay open, and a door to the room that was swollen and had to be forcefully shut. Of their 13 rooms, only 3 were occupied, including us. Forced to have dinner outside in a dark corner where we were largely ignored then rushed. Forced to have breakfast at a coffee table in the lobby with the dog's leash on my wrist, we were then told he disturbed other guests with his barking, not true as he is quiet and well behaved. And when we opted to check out early, instead of an apology she spoke over us and ran her mouth about the $50 charge, irresponsible people, her 6 years at the Inn, her experiences traveling with her dog 15 years ago etc.. We finally just turned away and left. Have been staying and eating here for 60 years. Rude, unprofessional, over priced. Not the enjoyable stay anticipated. Will never be back.
