Empty nesters with two rescue dogs
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Outer Banks Kill Devil HillsMy husband, I, and our two dogs stayed at your hotel for two nights for our 29th Wedding Anniversary & truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is really clean, well set up, and all of your staff provided great customer service. We stayed in a king studio suite with the kitchenette and there was plenty of room for us and our dogs. The dogs enjoyed the dog run on property, and we used the convenient safety access to cross Virginia Dare Trail to the beach walkway, passing the hotel's outdoor pool & facilities, along with using the hotel boardwalk to the beach.
It looks like a lot of fun in the summer. It's great that you also have the indoor pool facilities in the hotel for cooler seasons. We were excited & took advantage of the fact that there are so many dog friendly restaurants & bars within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is extremely dog friendly in all areas on the property & the elevators were big enough to accommodate us, two other guests, & our two dogs. We had such a blast that we are talking about making this an annual tradition for our Anniversary celebration.
Pass the Salt Cafe
Pass the Salt CafeWe stopped here on our way to our hotel in Kill Devil Hills after hopping off the Currituck ferry. We chose to sit out at a sunny deck table with our dogs Cleo and Jordan. We had a great lunch (patty melt and courthouse club were great and our dogs enjoyed grilled chicken breast.) I highly recommend this dog friendly restaurant. Emily, our server was excellent!
Quick overnight stay
Aloft Arundel Mills BWI AirportI loved how dog friendly the hotel is. The room was open & allowed the dogs have areas for their beds. The check-in area, breakfast area & bar are all open & allow plenty of room to walk through with our dogs.
