Nice trail but….

The white trail was about 3.7 miles long and a loop. It was rated moderate with a few rocks. We’ll there were lots of rocks. My golden retriever did not do well. He tried so hard but he ripped his paw pads. I think this trail should be marked experienced for dogs. It wasn’t the length of trail but constant rock climbing, numerous rocks in path, and all that gravel.
Too much for my golden. And he was too heavy to carry. Today’s a tough day.
Fine for people or maybe dogs with toughened pads😔
