Just right, a bit pricey
Residence Inn by Marriott Savannah AirportEasy checking in and out, plenty of dog walking space, quiet, close to restaurants. It was a one-night stay on our way from Florida to New Hampshire. The room was excellent, the breakfast was unremarkable.

Not the usual
Travelodge by Wyndham WythevilleThis place is a throwback to the motels of the 1960s. I gave them five bones because it is exactly what it is, with no pretense, was clean, had some grassy space for the dog, and was quiet. The TV reception left a lot to be desired, but I wasn't there for the TV. We got an excellent night's sleep, which was the whole idea. It was a few miles off the Interstate, but not too far, with several dining options close by.

Adequate, not great
Hilton Garden Inn BrunswickFirst, we had to change rooms as we were hauling our stuff in because they hadn’t noticed that we had a dog. Then we found out we didn’t qualify for breakfast because we booked through BringFido. Nice grassy space for dog walking. Room was clean.

Excellent in (almost) every aspect
Best Western Premier the Central Hotel & Conference CenterThe facility is excellent with a great grassy field for dog walking. Check-in was a breeze and the on-site restaurant, O’Reilly’s, was a big pleasant surprise. The food was much better than one would expect. I may have had the best wings I’ve ever had there. The only little thing is that they didn’t have early morning coffee and the restaurant doesn’t start breakfast until 7:00. They should really consider having a carafe of coffee for early departures. It’s the kind of touch a good hotel/motel should have. But that won’t keep me from coming back.
