Even a dog shouldn't stay here

I can't even begin to describe what a total dump this hotel is. La Quinta shouldn't even lend their name on it. Honestly, BringFido should take it off their site. It's that bad. It's a gathering spot for all kinds of sketchy types. When my wife and I first walked in the entire hotel smelled like weed. No kidding. The entire hotel! Our room was barely habitable. Paint peeling off the ceiling and generally a dump. We tried to check out but there was literally nothing available due to storm chasers and an LSU game. Stay away!
