Good location
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham OKC North - Quail SpringsAs with many La Quintas, this place was a good landing spot on our trip. Comfortable, plenty of parking. Restaurants, gas, shops nearby. There isn’t a dedicated potty spot but there’s a good amount of grass strips around the perimeter for taking care of business. And while the broader area is busy, the hotel is tucked into a large parking lot so you’re not walking your dog along a freeway or busy intersection. A big reason for booking this location was its proximity to Solo’s Park & Pub (yep, it’s a combination dog park and pub). I’d stay with my pup in this hotel again.

Truly dog friendly!
Roadrunner LodgeThis place was not only dog friendly, it was dog-focused. Of course that’s bound to happen when your Director of Canine Hospitality is a dog himself 😊 The room was well-designed and the whole experience was thoughtfully created to put you in the mindset of a traveler in the 60s, tooling down Route 66. There were great details in the room for humans and pups. The property included a nice, enclosed dog run complete with water, toys, and shade. There was also an inviting fire pit area. It was a really good experience for my dog and her humans. Nearby Del’s and Kix are dog-friendly places to eat. Would totally stay again!

Graduate RichmondAs with many hotels in cities, there’s not a lot of green space right outside. Maybe none? But there’s a pretty park just a couple blocks away. A front desk clerk gave my girl lots of treats, the valets were nice and accommodating (forgot something in the car after it was parked!), and the design is cool. It’s nice that they allow dogs though I didn’t get the sense that they were really set up as a dog-friendly place, if that distinction makes sense.

Good for humans, too!
Drury Inn & Suites AmarilloWhile the hotel is near the highway and busy roads, it also has a good amount of grass for sniffing and taking care of business. The hotel is well maintained, clean, comfortable, and offers drinks and food to the humans.
